Two star Hotel in Urbino – The San Giovanni Hotel and Restaurant is located in Via Federico Barocci in Urbino, just a short walk from Borgo Mercatale. Restaurant open from 12.00 to 15.00 for lunch and from 19.00 to 24.00 for dinner.


In 1958 Silvano Cecconi and Tina decided to buy the sixteenth century old palace in the center of Urbino, soon discovered that the building was full of history and memories. Was almost certainly a patrician house, then became the headquarters of the mint Duchy, and finally passed to the family of the Conti Albani, which founded a pin factory in the middle of the eighteenth century. Since 1958 is a thirty rooms family-run hotel with the adjoining San Giovanni pizzeria and restaurant. The restaurant has more than 200 seats, it is the ideal place for weddings and parties. The menu is rich of traditional dishes such as: pasta with truffles in season, wild boar or roe sauce, wild boar or deer stew, and the famous coniglio in porchetta. The pizza cooked in wood-fired oven.
